As promised here is the sequence of animations put together. I am pleased with it.

Well, there are only two weeks left of this quarter. omg! My original plan for this project will have to be cut short. Although I did get a majority of the animation done that I had planned.
Instead of my original plan I will have a nice set of cycleable animations for my Fish Guy character. He will flawlessy transition from running, to idleing, to death. On top of that I have a couple other animations to throw in the mix.
Anyway, expect an update tomorrow with a glimpse at the fish guy extravaganza!

Got some animation updates! Today I finished keyframing my death animation and got some good progress on it. Still has some work to go but its cool. I have tweaked my earlier jump animation. Now I can actually stand to look at it.

Got some Works In Progress
For my animations I have Fish Guy running. In his run he is going to jump and stop in place as well as run and get knocked down. So here are some animations of each. Both of which still need work, hence the whole WIP banter. In addition there is a death animation being timed out. More on that later.

Hello, hello.
Today I spent a few hours animating a walk cycle for my project. I think it looks pretty spiffy, so I figured I would share it with the world! Enjoy.

Oh man. I have been so busy with homework lately. With the loads of homework and a weekend of being sick I have managed to survive and succeed! I had fun animating these. I havn’t got to sit and just animate for a while so it was fun to sit and do what i love to do.
I have some first passes at some run cycles to show today tonight.
Cims Character Run Cycle (first pass) (2.5 mb)
Fish Guy Character Run Cycle (first pass) (1.1 mb)

Cims (pronounced sims) is a little character I conjured up for my character modeling class. Starring in a few of his own animated shorts (that may find there way on this site soon) Cims is continuing his role in getting me a job.
Being a huge fan of Oddworld I wanted to make an odd little creature of my own. From concept to color tests you can almost feel the inspiration from Oddworld.

Thats all for now! One more character profile left. CAN YOU HANDLE IT!?

…for more time
Progress on my project is coming along just fine. I now have the basic script for my project layed out. I have found it more difficult than I expected to create a story showcasing simple animation actions. The main difficulty being, trying to keep it simple enough so that I actually have the time required to finish it within the quarter. I expect to fine tune what I have planned some more, but expect a storyboard within a week.
Thats all for now, as my other homework assignments call my name.
p.s. keep an eye out for a second character profile later (and i mean later) tonight.
